Zumbathon to benefit anti-animal abuse cause

Local licensed Zumba instructors Jeannie Borgia-Wolcott, Debbie Daiker, Lacey Dolan, Mackenzie Liddle and Tracy Petronella will lead a ZUMBATHON® in the Holland Patent High School gym on Saturday, November 9 to benefit Lainey’s Army, a Facebook movement dedicated to the rescue of abused animals and their placement in loving homes.

The event, coordinated by Dolan, will begin at 11 a.m. Admission is $10 and includes refreshments and raffles.

Lainey’s Army was born from the group, Justice for Lainey, which rallied on behalf of Lainey, a four-year-old Australian Shepherd that was found starved, abused and neglected in Camden.
