ANCA to host program on regional nonprofits’ impact

The Adirondack North Country Association, on behalf of the Adiron-dack Nonprofit Network and Adirondack Common Ground Alliance, will be hosting a one-day summit on to examine the impact of the region’s nonprofit organizations.

It will be held Thursday, November 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Wild Center in Tupper Lake.

The event will also serve as the unveiling of a study that analyzes the regional impact of 36 nonprofits.

All those involved in nonprofit organizations—board members, staff, donors and volunteers—are invited to take part.

Local, county, state and federal government employees and other regional decision makers are also invited, in order to develop more strategic partnerships with these organizations.

In addition to interactive presentations and panel discussions, the lunch period will give attendees the chance to sit with a member of the North Country Regional Economic Development Council, to explore how nonprofits can further contribute to regional success.

The cost of the event is $40 per person and includes lunch.

ANCA is offering a sponsorship opportunity to individuals and organizations at a $150 level, which can be added at the time of registration.

Sponsors will be recognized in promotions leading up to and at the event.
