CAA seeking volunteers for NY State Fair booth The Central Adirondack Association is looking for volunteers to work the booth at this year’s New York State Fair, which will take place from Thursday, August 25 through Monday, September 5.
The twelve days that the State Fair is open creates a great opportunity to introduce and or reacquaint visitors to the Central Adirondack region through the use of personal information, DVD’s, and literature such as the Four Season Vacation Planner.
The CAA is looking for people-friendly volunteers who are knowledgeable about the Adirondack region to help share their love of the area with fair-goers.
Volunteers are needed to tend the booth at four-hour shifts, either between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., 2 and 6 p.m., or 6 to 10 p.m. any of the twelve days.
Please note that the CAA’s Executive Board of Directors has decided that if there are not enough volunteers at this year’s New York State Fair, there will be no CAA booth at the fair next year.
