The TOW Bar Inn on Main Street in Old Forge will be the site of a Sunday, September 29 gathering in support of area musician Jon Liebing, who recently broke his fibula.
The Lift a Leg for Liebing event will be held from 2 to 11 p.m. and features live music, free food and drafts, and a 50/50 Raffle. Admission is $15.
Among the bands performing at the event are: Paul Case and Kids Again, Andy Minnie, Joe Bolton and John Christy, Doug Green, Poor Tim, Dave Porter of 805, Bob & Dave, and Liebing’s Beatles tribute band, Plastic Soul.
Area tavern and restaurant owners will be helping out by donating food in support of Liebing, a full-time musician who is estimated to be out of work for up to six more weeks.
“Whenever there’s a fundraiser in support of someone in need, Jon is there to donate his time and talent. Now it’s payback time,” said TOW Bar owner Andy Hopsicker.
