Over 100 book and animal fans traveled to Moose River Farm on Saturday, August 24 for an Authors’ Fair and to celebrate the release of farm owner Anne Phinney’s first book, “Finding My Way to Moose River Farm: Living with Animals in the Adirondacks.”

Attendees enjoyed touring the farm and interacting with some of the animals that appear as characters in the book.

Phinney said she was delighted with the turnout for the fair and is considering making it an annual event.

She offered a big thank you to all her friends who helped pull the event together, and expressed particular thanks to her young volunteers Alex Sutherland, Alexis and Karleigh Hollister, Hailey and Robbie Craig, Trinity Liddle, and Courtney and Lauren Holt.
