Louise Gaylord to sign copies of latest novel at Old Forge Hardware

Award-winning local author Louise Gaylord will be at the Old Forge Hardware on Saturday, August 31 from 10 a.m. to noon to sign copies of her new novel, Sutton Place.

Gaylord has been a novelist for twenty years and is best known for her Allie Armington mysteries.

Sutton Place is the second in a trilogy and is her sixth novel. Her last novel, Dark Lake, a suspense-filled thriller, was set in the Adirondacks.

Sutton Place is the story of a wealthy New York City family and the lives of the two daughters as secrets start to surface.

In addition to novels, Gaylord has also written a cookbook, Recipes from Camp Trillium, named for her family’s Adirondack summer home. The cook book won honorable mention at the 2010 San Francisco Book Festival and Dan Poynter’s Global eBook Awards, for which two of her other books were finalists.

Gaylord divides her time among Old Forge, Santa Barbara and Houston.
