Ad’ks National Watercolor Exhibit opening at View

The 32nd Annual Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors will be on display at View in Old Forge from August 17 through October 27th.

This highly competitive exhibition features the aqua media works on paper from many of the best living painters in North America.

It has been ranked one of the ten best competitive watercolor exhibitions in the country by The Artists magazine, and has received numerous endorsements and accolades.

There will be an opening reception and preview on Friday, August 16, which is free to members, exhibiting artists and the public.

A Continental Breakfast and Gallery Walkabout will take place on Saturday, August 17 from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The walkabout will be led by Timothy Fortune, an artist who works from his Saranac Lake studio and gallery, The Small Fortune Studio.

Fortune has won numerous awards including the prestigious Annual Exhibition of Contemporary American Painting at the Society of the Four Arts, Palm Beach. His work is represented in the permanent collection of the Adirondack Museum at Blue Mountain Lake.

Admission to the walkabout and breakfast is $15 for non-members and $10 for members.
