The 4th Annual Kinderwood Golf Classic, the Kinder-wood Preschool’s biggest fundraiser of the year, was held Monday, August 5 at Thendara Golf Club.
The event included a day of golf, a post-play dinner at the Grill Room, a 50/50 raffle, a silent auction and a live auction conducted by Tim Foley.
Among the items up for auction were framed nature photographs by Michele deCamp and Gary Lee, handmade sweaters and blankets, a rafting trip, a variety of themed gift baskets, and an original painting by Rob Imundo.
Capping off the auction was a chance to have dinner with Kinderwood founder Mirnie Kashiwa. At $2,000, the opportunity netted the largest bid of the evening by Tim and Sherri Noonan.
This year’s event theme was “Come Play in the Adirondacks,” with the proceeds earmarked to assist with the construction of an Adirondack-themed playground on the grounds of View, home of the Kinderwood program.
