Sink-A-Boat: Woodgate Fire Dept. hosts 3rd water-themed fundraiser

The Woodgate Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its 3rd annual Sink-A-Boat Fundraiser on Saturday, August 3rd. The event will begin at 9 a.m. at the White Lake Shores Beach A.

Fire department teams consisting of four members each will be tied and anchored approximately 65 feet apart in 12 foot rowboats on the lake. The teams will attempt to sink each other’s boats with water from a small-diameter fire hose.
