The Inlet Historical Society will present a continuation of its “Inlet Then and Now” program on Wednesday, July 24 at 7 p.m.
Charles Herr, who presented the the first part of the program in June, will continue his discussion of the development of the early Village of Inlet.
He will also discuss the churches, fire department and other hotels and businesses at the head of Fourth Lake and the surrounding Seventh and Limekiln Lakes.
All are invited to attend. The board of the Historical Society welcomes additional information from the public as they continue to formulate the early history of the Town of Inlet.
New members are always welcome.

The annual membership meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 7th. All are welcome.
