IMG_7188Over thirty artists from the Big Moose Lake and Twitchell Lake communities will display and sell their art on Saturday, July 13 at the Big Moose Lake Association Center on Higby Road.

The exhibition and sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m with a reception to meet the artists from 6 to 8 p.m.

Last year over 200 people attended the event, and some artists sold out of their work.

The second annual event features painting, sculpture, photography and fiber arts.

Artists include textile designer April Chambers, professional artist Patty Zuver, and pastel artist Ingrid Van Slyke.

Also on display is the work of sculptor George Peters who has an award-winning piece included in the Central Adirondack Show at View.

There will also be a number of youth artists displaying their work.

The entire event is free and open to the public. Twenty percent of sales will benefit the Big Moose recreation program.
